    i got a dvd in pal format while i was in england last year. i ripped it with smart ripper with the setting that says region free checked.
    however, when i put the burned dvd in it says that it is still region locked and can't play it. i'd like to know if there is a way to make the vob files region free without ripping the movie again.
    any suggestions?

    Yea smartripper isn't to smart. You have to use ifo edit to make it region free.

    ok well at least there's a way...
    how would i go about doing that in ifo edit...any ideas?
