I just bought the Pioneer DVR-A04 DVD-R/RW and I have a newbie question. In Device Manager under WinXP Pro, it asks me to select a region that this device is in now and that at anytime I can change the region if I should happen to move to another country but I can only change it a total of 5 times.
My question is, right now it isn't set to any region. By setting the region to a specific country, do I lose the ability to read DVDs from other countries or make "backups" of movies that i own already that come from other countries? Or is it best just to not select a region?
Thanks.
