    I have captured some DV-AVI format videos...how can I turn the audio portion into an MP3 file? Basically, this is some old footage of me in a band and I would like to burn an MP3 disk out of it...besides a video, but I know how to do that...

    Please help !!!

    Here's a good answer

    Load the AVI into www.goldwave.com (Get MP3 plug-ins as well) then save out the MP3's
