Editing Divx

I have several Divx file I would like to edit out the commercials.

I tried using virtualdub but it seems to reset my edits.

I do a mark at the point where the commercial starts then do a mark out whn it ends. I thn move on to the next commercial and if I do a mark in it loses the first set of marks. Does it have a ability to do multiple chops?

You mark start and end, then press delete before you mark start and end of the next section. You can only do one at a time

Also before you mark start you must hit the yellow keyframe once to jump to the nearest keyframe, before you mark.

Move to start, Click yellow keyframe back once
Move to end, Click yellow keyframe forward once
Press delete key

do same for next section

That seems to work.

I gather moving to the keyframe is to keep the audio in sync?
