    And when you searched this forum for "mpe" did you get this:
    mpe, mpeg and mpg could be anything
    (? mpg usually only Xing-format, only I-frame)
    mpe is MPEG Movie Clip
    It is how I found it.

    To me, it means it is a .mpg file. Change the file extension, and see if it works.
