The picture stops but the sound goes on till the end

Hello all..
I tried to rip Prince of Egypt to VCD. I do these:
1. rip the dvd with dvd decrypter
2. use dvd2avi
3. use vfapi
4. frameserving with virtualdub
5. make the mpg file with TMPGenc

The problem is, after the 32nd minute, the picture stops, but the sound goes on until the movie ends (1 hour 38 minutes). And until the end of the movie, the picture is still the same with when it stops.
The quality from the beginning to the 32nd minute is very good.
How can I fix this? Thanks.

try ignoring the vfapi and virtualdub stages, just use the other progs you mentioned- they work for me!

I have the same problem .
I ripped w/ smart ripper , then demux the vob w/ TMGGEnc ,
convert the ac3 file to mp2 , then load in the mp2 and mv2 and try
and re-encode at svcd settings ...

I get about 25 minutes down the road then the picture just freezes ...
The first 25 are absolutely awesome quality, possibly the best mp2
encoding ive ever seen . Then fooey ! Picture freezes ...

I hope someone figures this out.

Are you using version 2.56.39.143 ?
Are you using a cracked version ?
