At Least for me that is the question.

I use Windows XP and for some reason, I cannot frameserve from VDUB to TMPGEnc (or CCE).

The reason is none of this encoders can open the VDR file created by VDUB...

So, I pay attetion to the following:

I get a Movie (divx) with AC3 audio.
Ripped the audio to a AC3 file.
    Converted the AC3 do Wav.
Open both (video divx - ac3, wav raw)
    Start frameserve.
Opening in Encoder I get the message that the file is not supported.

Ok, So I had tried this:

Opened the video (divix) and set the audio to "None"
Save the Avi (with no sound- that makes a really big file)
And then start the VDUB frame serve with the video(raw) and the audio(raw).

    Now it encodes...

    Man, its a nightmare...

Anyone get this issue? Can you share your experiences with me?
I dont know what to do...
Rip ever movie with ac3 to a raw avi is really a big s***...

    Help any one, please!

P.S. I forget to say that if the movie audio isnt AC3, the process is normal.
even if the audio is vbr.

  2. I don't think that this problem has anything to do with the sound being AC3. Actuall, I got this problem all the time, even if the sound was mp3 or wav, so I'm using to Avisynth.
