When I try and rip The Matrix with Smart Ripper it won't work. The vobs only open about 50%. When I use dvd encrypter it ends up with vob files that are VTS_02 instead of VTS_01 and they(VTS_02) will not work with DVD2 AVI. Other movies are ok. Please help. How can I make those vob files into VTS_01 or how can I process VTS_02 on DVD2AVI?

Thanks for reply. If I use Smart Ripper then I find it freezes while trying to load up. When I use DVD ENCRYPTER it rips the files in VTS_02 and I can't get them to work with DVD2AVI. If I try anything else the whole thing freezes. When you ripped The Matrix did you get the files in VTS_01?

    Hi
Sorry I cant remember which as it was a couple of weeks ago.
I got a feeling they were vts2_0 ifo and vts2_vobs. In the "movie" part of smartripper make sure you select the part which is the length of the movie. Then if u go into the "files" section often the correct vobs are then ticked but not the ifo. Make sure u tick the ifo. You are now ready to proceed.

    Cheers

  5. If smartripper freezes are you sure that the DVD is clean and not scratched ?

It took about 4 goes before I managed to rip it. and Smartripper grabbed the right files automatically.

  6. I had this exact same problem when i tried, the reason is that the movie has multiple camera angles for the special features such as Follow The White Rabbit, if you enable multi-angle ripping in dvd decrypter or in clad dvd you should be able to rip this properly.

As a side note, i also had problems converting the .wav audio to .mp2, besweet didnt like it for some reason but it can be converted using TMPGEnc although it takes slightly longer.
