Hello guys, I have 3 DVD Players: a Sampo 631 CF, a Sampo DVE 620 and a Sony DVP-560D. All the disc I burned work on Sampo players and some on Sony player (is an older model). Even if the Sony refuses to play the disc (it does that somethimes with split DVD-R's or stripped streams), at least it reads the disc. 2 weeks ago I bought some DVD-R's and when I tested them, the burned disc played flawlessly in all the players. The discs I burned lately (with Nero in Windows 2000 and DVD decrypter in Windows XP) still play in Sampo players but when I insert them in Sony, on the screen I get the message "Cannot play this disc" and on the DVD Player display says "NO DISC". I know for a fact that Sampo players, play also only ISO discs (i forgot once to create in Nero a UDF/ISO compilation) but the Sony does not saying the same "Cannot play this disc". However this time I created the discs using ISO/UDF and also I build disc image with Ifoedit and burned with DVD Decrypter so this is not the problem (UDF that is). Any ideea why I can play these discs in Sony. The discs that play in Sony (the first discs I burned since I bought this new brand) were burned before I reinstalled my Windows XP & 2000. Now I'm using the same version of Nero. Could this be the cause or only cheap media ???

The burner is Pioneer A04 and beside the fact that the discs won't play in Sony, in Sampo they work flawlessly.
Thankx for any sugestion...
