V7700 deluxe capture problems

Hi!

I bought the V7700 deluxe card from Asus. Everything works well. TV-out as well as the normal graphic functions.
I also contacted the Asus technical support via e-mail but they never answered.
I have problems with TV-in. Maybe anybody can help me. Everytime I connect the adapter (7-pin to chinch )on the graphic card the Asus Smart-Doctor which controlls the main features of the graphic card tells me, card-temperature 0°C and card-voltage 0 V.
It´s not possibel to capture anything. The seller of the card gave me a new card and told me to install the capture-driver. I work with Win98s and I installed every driver I could find for this graphic card.
Maybe anybody know this problem and can tell me what to do.

Can't help direct but...I have the ASUS 7700 and after over four weeks of messing about with it I find it a good card.
Can you capture any other form of input ie can you hook
up a stand alone DVD or VCR via the S-Video input - I presume that's what you are using, it's the only input I've got on mine anyway.
I haven't tried TV but both the above work well (when you get the settigns right etc etc)
Please note though this is a temperamental card particularly with what motherboard you hook it up to. ASUS don't want to know unless you have an ASUS motherboard too - I had a mother board that was compatible for 4xAGP for example but it wouldn't work with the ASUS only 2 x also it tended to overheat a lot and dip out the system - I ended up getting an ASUS motherboard and all is now OK.
Have you tried other inputs and I presume of course that you got the drivers installed properly and all that.

I just set up my new 7700 deluxe geforce 2 gts, and I saw many strange things, like the agp 2X on the QDI kinetiz 7B motherboard, which supports 4X....
Anyway, does anyone know a good forum for asus cards?

Yeah my previous one was a QDI board, I only knew about this cos mate bought the ASUS card just before me and went through the ASUS route and ended up getting the ASUS MOTHERBOARD - THIS IS HOW I CHANGED.
So sorry mate I don't think you will get 4xagp working. However note that if you check in the ASUS properties it sometimes tells you it's running at 1x and sometimes 2 x...But for definite the ASUS m/board has cured all my woes - except of course it cost a lot more.
