My objective is to create SVCD from a TV program.
My PC is not very fast so I can only capture video from my PCTV using MPEG AVI and then TMPGENC to encode to VCD or SVCD......
Is there any option to capture to a ligltly compressed format who'd allow better quality that can later be retained with an SVCD?
The MPEG AVI capture is fine for later creating a VCD but not for an SVCD. On the other hand my 500Mhz AMD will not stand an on-the-fly compression to SVCD or DV compression.
I am using the TV viewer application from Pinnacle.
Are there any more codec available to downolad?
Or maybe a more powerful application?
Thanks/Ciao
