  1. Hello there. First off i want to say thank you to all the people who have helped me out in the forums. You know who you are. Secondly. I wanted to know something about making a VCD with a combination of Picture slideshows and captured video.
I used my digital camera on vacation to take regular pictures and also capture 20 second avi clips. I know i can easily convert the Avi clips to mpeg and make a vcd out of them using Ulead DVD Movie factory, and i know i can make movies using Ulead DVD PictureShow. But is there a way to combine both into one VCD?? If someone knows how to do it please help. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

  8. I'm using Ulead Studio 5 that come with ATI AIW and Vegas Video 3, both ot those softwares allow me to add video clips and pictures together, so I can burn SVCD include the video & pictures on one CD-R. I just select the pictures/video clip and drag them on the timeline and render as SVCD format. Hope this help.

    Trunks,

Most any of the video editing programs will do what you are trying to do. The stills are just converted in video clips in the same format as your desired output (VCD, SVCD, DVD).

The new Studio8 by Pinnacle allows you to import a series of stills and use Ripple Transition to put the same transition between all of them. Pick crossfade and you have a nice series of stills in with your motion video.
