  1. ok. i have a vcd/mp3/CDDA player and it says something about VCD2.0
    whats that.. and is it more compressed than regular VCD1.0??

Well vcd 2.0 is just a updated version of 1.0 its the standard for vcds right now. so I think any remotely new vcd yu buy should be 2.0. pretty much all new vcd players should play 2.0 unless they really suck.(Napa-311 plays 2.0). 2.0 just allows more video to be stored on a single disc. so I think it is more compressed but im not sure

  3. vcd 2.0 allows for pbc (playback control) I think that is the biggest difference.

  4. make sure you use a bitrate of 1123 video, not 1150, or it'll skip a lot.

  6. PBC is what allows for features like menu control and chapter points, instead of just playing through the MPEG tracks like an audio CD
