editing music performances

I need some help. I want to get this effect:
I'm trying to make a VCD whith music performances so when one of them finish the music stops but the last image is still during 2 seconds and then fadeout.
How can i get that effect???

do it in a video/audio editor ... it is better if your editing app can do both the video and the audio to help you see what you are doing ..
vegas video would be excelent for this ...

just extend last frame for xxxx sec then do a fade out ....

adobe premiere works also - but vegas is much easer to use ..

to make it fade out - click on the little triange on the end and make it fade out .

to extend last frame clip out the last about 4 frames and time stretch (grab end and stretch) to nessessary lenth and put this in time line at end
