  1. Anybody have an accurate count of how many times the microphone is visible in Resident Evil? I lost count after 12. Whata buncha movie-makin' morons. If I ever made a movie I would be damn sure the microphone didn't get more on-screen time than the stars!

  2. YngwieJm,

You're right. That boom mic was ridiculous but actually gave me and my friends a good laugh. All in all, I loved the movie and the overall direction it took. The only two things I didn't like were the boom mics and that Michelle Rodriguez' character was killed off. I thought Rain was a cool character. Laters.

  3. The mics dosnt appear in the real movie.
The released vcd was most likely taken from a workprint,
where the mics hadnt been cropped/edited out.

I can't believe that morons are rating a movie based on an illegal vcd. If you are too cheap to go to the movies to see it, don't make comments on the inferior version of the movie you saw.

  6. Same thing for the new guy. I got it and it has the boom mic visible in about 15020% of the shots. Its free, you get what you pay for.

It's really sad though. The RIAA and the MPAA believe that people are stealing from them and because of the loss they get from these things they up the prices, the RIAA more than the MPAA. If people would not steal these movies then maybe my DVDs would cost less. And less is a good thing!

  8. You really believe that? The cost wont go down until either competition or consumers demand it. Left to their own devices, companies will charge as much as they can get away with. If tomorrow they decided DVDs will cost 45.00 each, and people pay that without a fuss, it will stay that price or go higher.

The cost of movies and CDs are so high because there is no other methods for getting the products out there.

Your right Companies decide the prices, but they will never lower the price until they are happy about the illegal copying situation.

  10. Even then, they wont consider it unless forced.

Yeah like asking a pro-athlete here in the US for a smaller paycheck
(avg. baseball player makes $48,000 a WEEK ),so a person can afford to take his family to a game.
