  1. Is it possible to rip a regular store bought DVD to an image file (.bin) using any imaging software?

If so; will it be able to be burned to a CDr with lets say nero, as long as i include a proper .cue file to tell the system where to look for the .bin??

    Thnx in advance!

  3. I know this probably isn't the right place to ask this but with the information from my last post, it fits.

How can i convert a .bin to a format that can be burned by nero or EZCD 5 and what format should i convert them to?

Next question: If I can convert the .bin to a different format, how can I tell what the original format was before it was imaged?

  4. Theoretically, yes, this could work, IF your DVD is very short or you want to use 6 or more CD's.

Converting a BIN involves first extracting the MPG file from it, you might as well skip the bin step.

DVD conversion is covered in great detail in the guides to the left.

  5. I am currently learning how to all this thnx to this site and these forums. That will work great for the future of ripping but do you have any suggestions on what do do with the one(.bin) i got. It also seems that every time I attempt to obtain a new movie they are always in .bin...

Any suggestions at this time would be greatly appreciated cause im lost

  6. You did not mention DL'd bins, from your question I assumed you were talking about a rip you had made. A DL'd bin is already encoded, just burn it, Use NERO and select the CUE file.
