  1. Was wondering, am using this version of CCE but i notice it can only load AVI, MOV etc, is there any version of CCE that actually loads VOB's?? Because i do not really have the hard disk space lying around to hold a DVD plus another 1-2GIG's of AVI

also, there do not appear to be any options in CCE, will these become available once i load a movie file ready to encode?

    thanks

As BJ_M said you frameserve the vobs to the encoder. It basically creates a file that CCE will load as if it were an avi file, but the file is very small so it doesnt take up additional hard drive space.

CCE and the methods used to encode with it are very advanced. Do not expect to get good results with just trial and error. You need to read a guide. The one on this site is a good start, then check the ones at www.doom9.net.

There are a decent amount of options in CCE but if you plan on running any filters on your movie you will need to do those through the frameserver. Again, read a guide to find out how.

    Here's my two cents...

Flask Mpeg 0.594 can read vob files.
If you rename the CCE plugin for adobe premiere from "cm-mpeg-ccet.prm" to "cce.cm.flask" and put it in the flask mpeg directory, then you'll be able to export via CCE

There is a preview version for Flask 0.6, but it doesn't seem to work with VOBs as well....

    if you get stuck:

    Hope that works
