When one captures the picture from a LD,can one capture the AC3 (Dolby Digital) sound tracks as well,and fit it all on 1 DVD-r??

He's being a jerk. (musher70 - just in case you're not, there ARE LaserDiscs movies that aren't out on DVD yet - like Star Wars 4-6 and the Indiana Jones Trilogy).
I've been looking for a way to do this myself, and haven't come across one yet. So far, I've had to content myself with just capturing Dolby Surround stereo. -
Yes and some laser disc will never be on DVD like Disneys Song of the South, plus how long will it be for Lion King, Beautican and the Beast, 12:01, plus others, thats another reason why I keep my Top of the line Pioneer LD990 around. Even though the 990 can output the AC-3, I know of no program or device that can imput and record the AC-3 track, too bad love to get my Star Wars and Indiania Jones over to DVD on 5.1.
