  1. When one captures the picture from a LD,can one capture the AC3 (Dolby Digital) sound tracks as well,and fit it all on 1 DVD-r??

  4. He's being a jerk. (musher70 - just in case you're not, there ARE LaserDiscs movies that aren't out on DVD yet - like Star Wars 4-6 and the Indiana Jones Trilogy).

    I've been looking for a way to do this myself, and haven't come across one yet. So far, I've had to content myself with just capturing Dolby Surround stereo.

Yes and some laser disc will never be on DVD like Disneys Song of the South, plus how long will it be for Lion King, Beautican and the Beast, 12:01, plus others, thats another reason why I keep my Top of the line Pioneer LD990 around. Even though the 990 can output the AC-3, I know of no program or device that can imput and record the AC-3 track, too bad love to get my Star Wars and Indiania Jones over to DVD on 5.1.
