  1. I have been trying to create a DV Video Encoder Type 1 file with Ulead Media Pro 6.5 on a Win XP system and keep getting the message I do not have enough room on the drive. The clip is right at 20 mins of DV captured on Premier 6 and the hard drive has 29 gig of space on it. I know that Win 95 and 98 had a AVI File size limitation but did not think Win XP did. Is this a standard problem and if so can you give advice on what I may want to do when I create the file. I am just trying to get the very best quality before I burn to a SVCD. I use TMPGEnc and Ulead DVD studio as well. If you have experiance with a better coding with Media Pro prior to TMPGEnc conversion would appreciate the info and advice.
just trying to make a good movie, yep that is what I am trying to do.

  2. If your hard drive is formatted with the NTFS file system, XP has no file size limit, but if you just use the FAT32 file system, then XP will have the same 4GB limit that 98 and ME have.

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
