I am having continuous problems trying to convert an mpeg file to VHS through Mediastudio 6. I am using a Dazzle Hollywood connected through firewire to my VCR. When recording starts, it appears to be fine. after approximately 30 seconds, everything goes haywire. There is some kind of digital interference or something and the picture gets "blocky". this goes on for about 15 to 20 seconds and then goes away. The recording goes smooth again for another minute or so and then the blocks come back. Also the sound gets metallic. This is a reoccuring wave that continues throughout the recording. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what can be done to correct it? I also have this problem when converting with Premiere.
Hardware:
Athalon 900
Ram: 528 MB
HD: 2 Maxtor 45Gig drives
Software:
Mediastudio Pro 6
Adobe Premiere
Please Help!!!
