  1. I've got an Aver TV Card with a tv out and i was wondering if i can use it to watch my vcd's on my larger tv instead of using my monitor.

    I'm grateful for any help.

If it has a TV-out then yes you should be able to output a display on a TV. Which Avermedia card do you have?

Well, yes you ARE missing something The AverStudio is a capture card not a graphics card. The AverStudio does not have a TV out port. It has a coax in, composite in, s-video in, FM radio in, and one or two audio-in's. You need to have a video card that has a TV-out to watch vcds on your tv from your computer.

  5. Yes i'm definitely missing some cells, i took the s-video in as an out socket, never mind i'll get hunting for a graphics card with an out socket.

    Many Thanks For Your Help.

    Mark.
