Does anyone know how I can check what video codecs I have installed on my system? I'm running WIN 2000.
Thanks.

Ok I'll do my best to help you, I run win98 french so I'll try my best to guide you, it shouldn't be so different. So here we go
go to your control panel, you should see a multimedia icon, double click on it then check for the peripheral tab, now you should see many thing listed and in those there is one that should read something like : video compressing codecs, click on the + before it and it should list you all the video codecs you have installed on your machine, to remove one you need to click on properties then choose remove or whatever it is called in english. Hope this help if not post again I have access to a win2k computer and I'll look further to help you.
