I recieved these applications from an author with a Switzerland address.
They are hosted on my site, in the tools section. homepage.mac.com/rnc I have not tried them myself, so don't ask me for help. Below is the messages that came with them.
Xplex
Hi Ross...here it is...It already has an AppleScript GUI on the front of the App so no work needed there. all the buttons are self explanatory.
I mainly got this to work on the mac because mplex in MMPT will not accept the mpeg stream from FFMPEG ( best quality mpeg i have ever seen) .BTW alot of people have probs with FFMPEG mpeg streams because they fail to realize that it ALWAYS produces Prog Streams...You still have to Demux, even if you dont encode audio.( if you set the CLI perams by hand TO Mpeg1Video then its OK, but every body uses the GUI frontends wich dont.)
Anyway its all very easy to use...
PullDownX
while im at it....here is PulldownX for OSX...Anothe port with GUI on the Front....
Can do lots of things....
Change framerate, aspect_ration, insert and remove Rff flag, set to non drop frame for NTSC, change field order, set prog or interlaced frames or stream.
Enjoy
