    Hi,
    Do you know if this player (SAMSUNG DVD V1000) supports PAL VCD's?
    I know that it plays VCD's and SVCD's but I'm not sure if the PAL format for VCD's is supported.

    Basically, I want to purchase some VCD's from several stores on the web. Mostly (if not them all) are in PAL format.
    Check this site (they say that the VCDs are in PAL format) : www.allvcd.com

    Thanks, for taking the time to reply.
    The reason why I'm posting is that I already called Samsung and no one was able to give me a clear answer (they don't even know what a VCD is), so I believe that a Samsung DVD V1000 user who has purchased VCD's on the web will be able to provide me with a clear answer.
