somethings been bothering me for a little while... i swear i can remember my first 3-4 vcds, when put in my apex, would start at the menu, but now they all need "play" to be pressed for the vcd menu to show up (show the vcd 2.0 pcb on text over the background image)... it still works fine, just doesnt autoplay... are my memories out of whack, or was there something i did? since then, things ive done that could be responsible:
i changed firmware several times for making differant background images (all using either the origional firmware or the macro/region free version, but just those two)
ive gone to a newer version of nero (the old one needed me to add the "scandata.dat file myself, the new one comes with it)
ive tried my vcds on two other non-modded 1500's, and the same thing, play needs to be pressed, soi doubt its the firware at play... nero is my only remaining suspect, yet im sure a large number of people are using the latest version of nero and i havent heard of this before, so am i just going insane? has the 1500 ever autoplay'ed the menus?
