  1. I am getting Ready to Buy a DVD Burner and I have Decided to go with A Pioneer because I heard it was the best, But when I started looking I found the 2 different Types DVR 104 and the DVR A04. What is the differents if any? I see the Prices are different. Please Post if you know what the differents is, or if you perfer one or the other! I just need to know which is best of the 2. THanks for any Help you can Give.

  2. The A04 is the retail version that comes in a nice box with bundled software. The 104 is the OEM version that comes in bubble wrap and has nothing bundled with it.

Apart from that they are the exact same drive.
RealaT Bytes, but that's what life is.

However, many places are selling the 104 with the same software as the A04 (just no pretty retail box). If you can live w/o the box (and higher quality blank DVD-R and DVD-RW from Pioneer), try the 104. It's the SAME drive.

    I got mine from ESBuy:

Never ordered from them before, but they were great. Highly recommended.
