    thanks for the reply,I am using nero 5.5.1 if i Upgrade should my DVD computer and stand alone be able to read the disc straight up?,My stand alone DVD player is both VCD and SVCD, CDR and CDRW compliant?

    Personaly I would recommand you to use something more like TSCV or VCDEasy, they create a much more standard SVCD image, which you can of course use NERO to burn, but to use NERO as the SVCD authoring, i've heard too many users complain it's not compatible with their players.
