Hey, if you don't mind me asking, how do you upload more than 10 min in YT?

Is there any way to upload videos more than 10 min? I really need to know how for my future videos.

video_part-1, video_part-2, etc... split them into convenient hunks. why bother with trying to trick yt, when they may erase your video and put your account in bad standing if they find out.

They'll take videos up to 10 minutes 59 seconds. If they're longer than that then do as aedipuss says and split them up.

People who have videos longer than what is currently allowed uploaded them before YouTube changed it.

Interesting ... do they have to be flash video to begin with ... or what type of video can it be ... wmv ... mpeg2 ... avi [divx]

Ive been thinking about sending a video to a person and YouTube would be a decent way to show this person

if you read the directions, you'll see it's just about any filetype...including those...and way beyond those

a database is simply a large amount of boxes that contain data...if the settings are changed later restricting the amount of data (now it's 10 minutes of video), the box containing 15 minutes is unaffected

Any particular file format recommended that they prefer ?

Or from other persons reading this ... is there a certain file format that gives better results when attempting to do this.

yt's preferred file format atm is h264 mp4 with aac audio.
