I got an ATI all-in-wonder Radeon card. I have been capturing using the DVD setting and editing it to VBR at 6mbit. Does anyone know how much the VBR varies on the ATI card. Is it better to capture at VBR or CBR to get closer to DVD quality. I would like to be able to get at least 2hours video on a DVD+R. Thanks for any inputs

For Real time capture to DVD using AIW radeon, my experience is that it can only capture about one hour worth using VBR or I frame only. If you use TMPGENC, VBR two pass, at about 4.5mbit, you can fit 2hrs worth of MPEG2 video but not at 6mbit as you wanted to.
