    Hey everyone.

I have the chance to get this card fot a quarter of the price.
I know it's not the best for games, as it would be equivalent to a X1900XT card (not bad, though) and I don't work with 3DS Max or Maya or any kind of this.
Will video editing take advantage of the card as well?

  2. No. Well, if you're using a plugin that does 3d rendering it might. But for normal video editing it won't help. It won't make your MPEG or h.264 encoding go any faster. For video editing, the display card is there just to let you interact with the program. It doesn't assist in the actual video processing.
