  1. I purchased a tdk cdrw 24/10/40. Everything works great but I have a question if any one can help. I downloaded a video approximately 1000 mbs, can I burn that and how. I have nero installed on my computer. Thanks!

do you have a disc that will hold 1000mb?
is the video .mpg, or .avi?
look to the left, and read through the how to sections.
they should answer all of your questions.
what are you askin' me for...

  3. I am new to this cd burning thing. I do not have a disk that fits 1000mb, do they make them for cdrw's, I only see them for dvdrw's. The file is an mpeg file. Thanks for responding.

look to the left where it says EDIT
find the how to section that shows how to split an mpeg with TMPG.
    it's pretty easy to do.
you'll just want to split the movie in half, and then you'll be able to put it on 2 discs.
what are you askin' me for...

not knowing anything about your mpeg i suggest the following.

    1-get TMPGEnc plus

2-split the file in half. if you dont know how, look left under "how to", click "edit", click "How to cut with TMPGEnc", follow instructions

3-"if you don't have mpeg plugin for nero", load 1st file in TMPGEnc plus and encode to either vcd or svcd. in setup menu adjust size to fit yhe size of your cd. encode. do the same for next file(look left under convert menu for help)

4-after that(or if you have mpeg plugin -skip step 3) load ist file burn under vcd or svcd menu. then repeat for second.

you should look at the left for help in improving quality, etc.
