DVD Moving Menus

Hi,
I need to know if there is a way to Rip A DVDs Menu (The Moving type) And convert it to MPEG2 Format? I know I won't get to interact with it I just want it to show up when I pop in the Disc. Please Post if you know how. I am guessing it's a File on the DVD But I can't seem to find it, I Ripped all the Files off the DVD and still can't find it. What file type is it? Well Thanks for any Help!

the main menu will be the file before the main movie, normally vts_01_0.vob. it can be difficult to rip though as it can contain lots of images. if u just want the picture. try using the screen grab feature of powerdvd or windvd. u may have to decrpyt the dvd first

Easy Peasy.

Its called demuxing and it can be done by DVDwise, Tmpeg, Vobsnoopy and lots of others. Also lots of DVD decypting tools can do it too like DVDdecypter and Smartripper.

hmmm i will give some of them a go - as i have the others and 50mins into the film the audio goes out of sync. its of by about 1.3secs.

Not sure about dvdwise..Its not made any more..The company is called bernclare , they make one called dvd junior now..Try having a search for wise..Ive got the dongle-free crack if u want it..To use DVd decrypter, just choose Ifo mode and stream processing, click enable stream processing and you tick what streams you want to keep and wether to demux or not.

If you are having sync probs may i suggest BBmpeg, it can add a delay to audio and/or video so you can fix sync problems.
