  1. Lots of posts come through on this stuff but nothing specifically on usin DVD2SVCD to convert AVI to SVCD. Somewhere something is getting lost. It tells me BBMPEG CANNOT FIND ENCODED AUDIO MP2. I know what that means but can't do jack s**t about it. Anyone else seen this error. I also understand the prog is not fullproof on that conversion but everything else I tried using seems to knock flix off sync. ANY HELP APRRECIATED.

  2. I believe the answer is in the DVD2SVCD FAQ. Your problem is the path you set for the files is using either long file names or special characters and BBMPEG can't access it because it's a command line driven program. I suggest you change the output paths to something simple like "C:\VCDTEMP" don't use spaces, only use characters and keep the name to 8 characters or less. Hope that helps.

  3. You know I wish it were that easy...After more tries with it I see that it fails to extract AC3 audio from AVI's because most of the AVI's I have use PCM audio. In my specified folder for rips it takes a non existent AC3 and tries to convert that to an MP2. But it can't due to the fact the AC3 audio file shows a BIG FAT ZERO. (I use the LOG to see all this stuff), therefore it won't make an MP2. AC3 audio is from DVD's why must DVD2SVCD look for that all the time. Or, is there a way to change that.

  4. Can you copy the log file and post it here. Maybe me or someone else can help after looking at the log.

Then it stops!!! All folder paths are correct but it does show a zero in ac3 audio file. And it wants to convert that to mp2 but like we talked about the AVI doesn't have that AC3 audio. If you could just gimme a good set of settings on that prog for AVI's I should be ok. DVD's I do with no prob.
