I have burned numerous SVCD's before with a template in TMPGEnc. However, I have a new AVI that plays great on my computer, but when I convert it to SVCD, there is no sound. Do I need to perform a simple multi-plex in TMPGEnc first then rejoing before converting. Any one had this happen to them before? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards....

I may know what the problem is now. I had to convert this to a new AVI using VirtualDub, since it had a loop in it at the end of the movie saying someone was great. Therefore, I chopped out those frames. However, when I coverted the movie, I didn't select Full Processing Mode for Audio. I am re-creating the file now to see if that helps. If someone knows it won't then please save me some processing time and let me know...

Try extracting the sound from the movie separately into a .wav file (using VDub). Encode sound using that .wav file.
