VirtualDub Capture Problems continues

Althought I install the nimo pack codecs software however I still can not play in VirtualDub the .avi files have been recorded from my DV Camcorder by Premier. I receive the same message I have mentioned in a previous message (about directshow codecs). Also, Virtual dub can not capture movie from my DV Camcorder (a Panasonic nv-ds15). I receive the following error message : "cannot find a driver to draw this non-RGB image format. Preview and histogram will be unavailable". I have installed the ffdshow (maybe this is besides the point) but maybe it helps also. Plz, any idea ?

you need a vfw dv codec in order to view your files in vdub. here is one

If nothing else works, try this. Get Scenalyzer ($33 US) and use it as capture software for your DV Cam. Then open the *.AVI files in VirtualDub to join segments and apply filters as you wish. Works great for me. Just an option if you have the disk space for uncompressed AVI.
