Can someone give some advice with this one.
I have just started ripping so I'm a real newbie.
i ripped the 3 godfather movies which r region 2, by using smartripper or dvdecrypter. I demuxed them to an m2v and ac3 files. I then loaded them into tmpg and encoded them to DVD mpeg2 and it worked no problem.
i have now tried to rip Pulp Fiction which is region 4 the same way.
it appears to rip ok but tmpg can on only see the miramax logo and thats it. As soon as the actual movie starts I only get the audio.
I have checked the m2v file with dvd2avi and it shows the movie.
It might be a priority problem or a tmpg plugin but I don't know where to start.
What I don't understand is why it worked for 3 movies and it won't work now.
Any help and advice would be great.

well if i were you, i wouldn't even bother using tmpgenc to open up the m2v file, if you have dvd2avi, just load the m2v into it, then "save project" this will create a d2v file which can be opened into tmpgenc. also, MAKE SURE that the dvd2avi.vfp file (it comes with dvd2avi) is in the tmpgenc directory, this is the plugin thats needed to open d2v files in tmpgenc.. good luck!

The only thing that still puzzles me is why it worked before.
Thanks again
