Remux file in Ifoedit, but no VIDEO_TS.IFO

as above really, i've remuxed my file in ifoedit to a new destination, but I thought Ifoedit was meant to produce a new VIDEO_TS.IFO file..??
All I'm getting is new .vobs and new vts_01.0.ifo..???

It was in the original folder where I streamed and removed vobs, but it seems as soon as you remux with a m2v file, it doesn't build another. My intention is to keep the menus.

After streaming, the movie was still too big, so I transcoded in rempeg to get the m2v file.

hmm ok u could get IFO Edit to create u a new video_ts.ifo etc just open up ur vts_01.0.ifo and goto VOB extras and make sure u tick boxes 4,5 and 6. and leave all other settings on the right in vob file options. Then this should re strip (or read) ur excisting VOB files and create a new VIDEO_TS.vob etc. but im not sure if it will strip out ur menu.

thanx mate, but I think that option gives you the movie only.

I'm trying to rip Shrek, and keep the extra Karaoke sequence. I want to keep the main menu, so that you can click in features and get the option to choose the Karaoke feature.

The final size with the extra sequence came out at about 4.89 gigs, so I transcoded in rempeg to produce the m2v file and thats when it all went wrong

so if anyone has successfully ripped Shrek with the original menu and keeping the Karaoke sequence to dvd-r, it would be much appreciated if you wouldn't mind explaining how it was done,

From memory you can copy this file from the folder/directory you remuxed the vobs from.

Just checked my trusty ifoedit guide (cheers doom9 ) and it advises that VIDEO_TS.* & VTS_01_0.VOB should be copied from the previous folder/directory to the new folder/directory.

sorry for the l8 reply, but just got back from a weekend trip

Just managed to do Lord Of The Rings, and split to two dvd-r's, so must be doing something right
