    hi,
    i turned alot of films into vcd's they work on my p.c. and are the right 2.0 standard.
    But when i try to play them on a normal standalone dvd player for the tv none of them ever work, i;ve tried a few dvd players and checked to see on the compatibility list to see if they should work and they should.
    So where am i going wrong?

    Check the DvD player if it plays CD-Rs or CD-RWs.
