  1. well first i tried movie factory and thought it was glitch but then i tried my dvd and it comes up wit the same thing (about 8 meg file) the prob is that the mpeg that i am imporing in there is 4.6gb but both programs are sayin when i open it out 7.83gb (my dvd) and 8.4gb ( movie factory) ..... y is it doing this ?????

    P.S. THE MOVIE IS 1 HOUR 52 MINS (SPDRMAN )

    how did you make the mpg? and 4.6 is too much for any dvdr, a dvd only fits 4.3 GB (4 700 000 000 bytes).

  3. i converted to mpeg2 wit tmpgenc ver. a ........ so i was tryint to authorize it wit my dvd or movie factory and it spits out this figure at the bottom saying need 8 gb of space.... all i want to no is FOR WHAT??????

    P.S. my fault i thought 4.7 gbh mean 4.7...... but i guess i have to reincode again..... the thing i want to no is what is the best cbr or should i do vbr should i set my tmpeg at to encode just enough for dvd-r???????
