I've been using Nero for a while to burn vcds and svcds...I'll try to describe this as best I can. I'm capturing using ATI 7.7 svcd. I've captured and made an mpg that is about 40 minutes long...File size is about 734 mgs. When I try to burn this with Nero, it all of a sudden changes the mpg size to 834 mgs and spits the cd out, saying there is not enough room. I've burned many svcds and cds this size before. Does anybody have a clue why this would be happening?

    TIA

Sounds like your capture is not VCD compliant, then Nero would need to change what is wrong, that could mean an increase in the size.

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

    Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

It never has been compliant. I've always just turned off compliance and burned. The resulting vcds or svcds always worked. There's no re-encoding going on.
