    Hi EXPERTS!!!

I have tried several methods for getting a dvd to a divx avi.
    The latest id DVDx programm.

According to DRF analyser i get an exelent result :

    DivX DRF Analyzer Report!

    Resolution: [ Width: 640 Height: 272 ]
Frame Rate: 25.000 frames per second
    The Video has 125226 frames [ 01:23:29 ]

    Average Frame quality is HIGH
    Standard Deviation: Quality is HIGH
    Image Resolution is HIGH
There are NO frame drops ( NO drops is better )

This video may have some frames with VERY POOR Quality

    Performance Caracteristics:
    Macroblocks per frame: 680
The Width is multiple of 32

    Kilobits per Second: 1844.26
    Kilobits per Frame: 73.77
    Kilobits per Macroblock: 0.108
    Bits per Pixel: 0.43

    Only some poor frames...

My problem now is the fact that i set the framerate so high , i got a verry big avi.
1.4 gig for a 83 minute film... To mutch. should be +- 700 Mb.

Anybody have a advise for changing this?

    Thanks

  2. You need to use the "Zoom" feature in DVDx's Output Settings. Here, you're able to adjust the aspect ratio to Widescreen, Full Screen, Pan Scan, and Medium. All can have various effects on your movie.

The best thing to do is to load your movie in first. Then, use the Slider at the bottom of the Main Screen to slide to a random point in your movie. Open the Output Settings Window and try selecting different values under "Zoom". This will in effect allow you to see what your movie would look like using different Aspect Ratios. You can set your video bitrate to
1150 and click on whole button for high quality but will have to be on 2
cds. You found out 700mb cd is squishy if you try wide screen it might help. You can use studio 7 to add file to a movie to to show you made it
or you can use it to cut some credits out that may work to.
