I've got a couple of avi file that I want to burn to VCD to play on my DVD player. Both files are in excess of 715mb, they get even bigger when I use Nero Burn to create them as VCD. Is there anything I can do to fit these files on the CDs?? I wouldn't mind chopping them up to make them fit or doing anything thats possible.
Help would be really appreciated!!
Cheers
Russ

Since you will have to encode them to mpeg-1 to burn them to VCDs anyway, why not do it and see how big the file size is? It may be just small enough to suit you.

Exactly,
Depending on your template settings the mpg gets considerably much smaller than your avi
