I am so new to this that I feel stupid even asking this stuff. I know I will be an asset one day. I run a pretty popular site myself but it has nothing to do with this hobby.

Anyways...........

I just downloaded like 50 files to watch INSOMNIA the movie.

They are all in weird formats like:

(1) file called Insomnia scr-pdivx.nfo
the rest are zipped up and called Insomnia scr-pdivxpart01 , part 02 part03 etc etc

My question is this.

What do I do with these files to creat a MPEG or a AVI or whatever , I want to make a full movie out of these files to burn to a DVD is this even possible.

What are the steps from where I am at now to making a movie out of these files ?

Please help the big dummy newbie !!

What you have is a divx file. Divx requires a special codec, depending on the version it could be 3, 4, or 5. Check the how-to's to the left for converting a Divx file.
