    I can't believe it.

The "Pegasys" on-line company that I tried to buy TMPGenc thru, just gave me a message that my credit card number was no good and wouldn't consumate the sale(saying to try another card later!)

That is Bull!! I just used it a Best Buy an hour before. And used it to buy gas on the way home from work just now. I'm at least $1000 from my card limit! And I triple checked all the entry info.

Now I don't know if I do "try it again later", if I'll get charged twice, or what! I SURE can't afford that.

Anybody else have trouble using the Jananese company(Pegasys) to buy TMPGenc?

I used my citibank mastercard two weeks ago to buy Tmpeg and it worked fine. Maybe the connection was down so they couldn't verify the card. I'd try again later.

Guess I have no choice but to try later. I just don't want to think about getting hit for that $48 twice. Ouch.

Seems weird that the website took me thru all the various steps and screen changes(before telling me my card was "not active"), if it was down.

They also have trouble with "free" email accounts...the same thing happened to me, cleared up when I used my sister's earthlink account.

C'mon subclubkid, Hori worked hard on this outstanding encoder and deserves some remuneration.

$48 US is a bargain...but the credit card problems can be a hassle...

I emailed TMPGenc and a Rep. told me to try the US alternative(called ifekx.com ), which worked fine.

I know man,I was just kidding. I download everything and try it before I buy it. I'm about to buy TMPGenc myself. I always support things that I like

  12. The Ifekx (http://www.ifekx.com) store was brought online to address the shortcomings of the Pegasys Online store. In fact, most of the online shops in Japan function that way; to them it’s acceptable.

Some people have had trouble with their credit cards at our store. This is simply because we are extra cautious to avoid fraudulent charges. Being a smaller company with roughly half of our orders from outside the USA, we have less of an ability to deal with and eat fraudulent charges than say bestbuy.com. If there ever is a problem, simply email us and it will taken care of promptly.
