I have a problem where TMPGEnc will never finish an encode. It will sit displaying one second to go under "Remaining time" and the elapsed time will continue to count up. It will literally sit like this for hours until I perform an end task on the application. It doesn't matter if this is DVD rip or a conversion. The result is the same. If I view the MPEG it creates, it looks just fine.
I've searched the forum for this problem and haven't found a solution. It's done this with multiple versions of TMPGEnc.
Am I safe to just end the task? Has anyone else seen this?
TIA!
H

I get this sometimes as well. I don't really know why or how to fix it but for piece of mind your not the only one.

I had the same problem in rempeg2, and I found a post somewhere that said not to worry about it. It just means the last few frames or so did not get done, and the output file should be just fine. (the last few frames are prob just black screen after teh credits.)
