    Any one know of a Cd Info Tool (other than Nero's...which crashes every time for me) that will give me info on CD media(dye,size,manufacturer etc).

    Seach for "CD Info" with Google.

    BTW, these tools don't give accurate info... They don't actually analyse the disc -- rather they just read the info that the manufacturer stamped on the media (which may or may not be accurate).

    Thus, for generic third party media, you cannot be sure of the validity of the information reported.
