The movie i'm trying to rip is in 1.85.1 aspect ratio and i want to keep it as it is. There is no option that allows you to set it in 1.85.1 in TMPGEnc. cuz i don't want full screen of the movie when i rip it.

Have you made sure to set the source as "16:9 525 line NTSC (or PAL)" ? Try that instead of 4:3 and tell was what happens.

There are only 4:3 and 16:9. If it says 1.85:1 or 2.35:1, they just add more black bars above and under the screen.

Beautiful Alone,
Try listening to ACoolT5 before you go nuts, try it once and the video will be at the correct aspect ratio.
