  1. I'm looking for an easy way to cut SVCD's into cd sized segments. MMC7.7 seems to do a good job of capturing MPEG2, S/VCD compliant files in real-time. So, all I want to do is chop a 1.2 GB file into 2 600 MB files that Nero will burn without re-encoding. TMPGEnc says "Your MPEG2 trial time has expired". The upgrade is 50 bucks and won't do DVD. I'm saving my cash for a DVD-R. So, I downloaded VCDEasy. All it seems to do is turn a perfectly compliant SVCD file into a .bin file the same size. I've got to be missing something. VCDEasy aside, is there still a free version of TMPGEnc that will edit MPEG2?
