I have a Sony DVP-S535D player, and I have successfully encoded Spiderman to SVCD using 90 minute cds. However, when I went to play the SVCD using the DVD player, it brought back the message "NO DISC". I have never encountered this problem, and after checking the compatibility table, I found that my player is compatible with SVCD. I tried a VCD in the same unit, but the same problem occurred. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks.

RoadWarrior, the DVD Player listings to the left indicate your player can play SVCD format, but it also indicates CD-RW media is necessary. Do you have 90 minute CD-RW's?

if you your not using cd-rw's then try vivastar, or datasafe cdr's
