As high definition broadcasts and the televisions that receive them become more common, I was wondering if this is an issue with regards to all of my (S)VCD's. Does anyone know if (S)VCD's will be viewable on high definition televisions?

I'll take a stab at this, though I neither have a high-definition TV to test one on, nor a broad knowledge of technology. But I think I know the answer on this one.
Sure it's viewable, so long as your player can play it. However, you will notice the lower resolution (HDTV is higher than 480x480). So you'll see it, DEFECTS AND ALL.
I see no possible reason to believe that your movie won't play. Just won't look as nice on the High-Definition TV... Ironic.
